This is a bride-centric selection from a summer wedding at the Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club. Even with some extra help, brides don’t always have the luxury of time to savor the moments between the “main events”. However, I found this bride to be radiating throughout the day and here are some snippets from her side of the story.
We had front row seats to watch a beautiful sunset (which, in turn, made for some beautiful portraits) and the night was topped off with lots of dancing and even a singing performance by the groom. Though I also photograph posed group portraits, details, cake cutting, etc., what I enjoy most is anticipating, capturing, and sharing the fleeting expressions – what I believe to be the essence of wedding photojournalism.
