Some days you steal a few moments wherever you can find them, other days like these, you have some extra time and a relatively small bridal party, allowing us the luxury of making plenty of portraits. Bride being a fan of candids and portraiture scores bonus points.
In recent posts, I feature a lot of walking together down the aisle shots. Not that I don’t capture first kisses, but it’s the photo everyone and their mother gets. I really like photographing a couples’ first march back together as a newly wedded couple. Also, it’s a front row and center seat giving you an exclusive privilege.
Weather and light in Marina del Rey are a bit too perfect. I suppose I still have my East coast mentality, expecting patchy clouds, humidity, and who knows what else.
